After having his first ride in a QR maiden at Leopardstown for Jim Bolger in July 2018, Wexford native Pearse Rogan teamed-up with the Shay Slevin-trained Spring Well when making his point-to-point debut at Tinahely in October of that year. Rogan partnered his first career win when guiding Fiston Du Mou to victory at Dromahane in December 2020 in what proved to be a remarkable breakthrough campaign for him as he would end the season with eight wins, which sealed the Under-21 title thanks to a fruitful partnership with handler Donnchadh Doyle. At the end of the 2021 autumn season, Rogan retired from race riding.
