The winner of the Grade 1 Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival came from this race 12 months with The Mourne Rambler, so there is sure to be plenty of attention on this latest renewal. Gary Murphy won the race 12 months ago with a newcomer, and he will attempt to repeat the feat with Louilood. SUNSET CAROUSEL and Harper Brown have the experience in the book, whilst Ger Quinn was the yard to follow last weekend, which has to bring his Shoes Off onto the shortlist.

GLENHEAD was sent off as the favourite for his debut in Necarne at the tail end of last season, and after finishing a creditable third on that occasion, he could be the one that takes the step forward here. On The Razzle also brings placed form into this, including a second at Farmacaffley, whilst Downpatrick Hill did progress from his debut when finishing third around here in March.

NANCY WHEELER has not yet appeared between the flags, but her latest effort inside the rails would likely leave her as a contender for this. The five-year-old posted a career best when finishing third in a Wexford maiden hurdle last time, on what was her first attempt at three miles. Silverado Blue is the obvious danger. She was beaten by just over six lengths on her debut in Ballyknock, and should not be too far away if bouncing back from her Necarne disappointment. Stablemate Talladega was in action over hurdles during the summer, and there was promise in her latest two efforts.

MY LIFE BE LIKE has been absent since disappointing in testing conditions at Clonmel in January, but he could be the one to side with on his first venture into open company. Unbeaten in two starts at this course, he was a commendable fourth in the Down Royal Hunter Chase last Christmas. Track recruit Golden Joy is unproven at this trip but did finish second at the Dublin Racing Festival on his penultimate start; I A Connect was placed in the Ulster National earlier in the year, whilst Ballyphilip is another previous winner around here, and is better than his latest two efforts.

CHIEFS KINGDOM was beaten by less than a length off a mark 106 over hurdles at Leopardstown last Christmas on his penultimate start, and the return to the pointing fields could be rewarded here. Sutherland has also changed stables and was twice placed last season over hurdles in England when with Tom Ellis, whilst Supreme Walk has been absent since finishing fourth at Bartlemy well over a year ago.
